For a reading moment, we offer you three books.
First of all "Don Quixote" , a classic. If you want to read a book about Spanish culture, you can't miss it!
"Comme les amours" by Javier Marías is a detective novel set in Madrid, with a plot around love and crime. The suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end! We'll let you discover...
Rosa Montero immerses us in a futuristic story, in the 22nd century. We loved the girl boss side with the heroine of the book who is a real warrior!
You can of course find all his books in French in bookstores!
SCREEN SIDE
Our favorite Spanish movies/series!
The movie "Las Niñas" has won many awards. We are immersed in an important stage of life for all of us: adolescence. We highly recommend watching it.
Then, in terms of series, we couldn't miss "La Casa de Papel" , which made a huge noise! Now 4 seasons have been released! At the office, we are impatiently waiting for the fifth.
Finally, "Elite" , the teenage series par excellence but we love the little intrigues and gossip of this one! The last season has just come out on Netflix. Have you seen it?
MUSIC SIDE
The first song, "Barcelona Nights" with southern notes, is catchy. It's typically the perfect music for an aperitif by the water with a sunset (and a cocktail)!
The second song, "Pareja del año" has a much faster rhythm. We are fans of this one to be able to dance! If you come to Barcelona you will hear it in the shops, it goes everywhere!
Do you like it?
To finish in style, the famous Colombian J. Balvin gets us in the mood with a reggaeton sound! His music is now a must-have for parties!
ART SIDE
We cannot talk about Spanish culture without mentioning the fabulous Catalan artist, Joan Miró! He is considered a contemporary classic. Painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramist, he is one of the main representatives of the surrealist movement.
The first image is a photo of the work "Blue Star" , made in 1927 and which was sold in Paris for more than 11 million euros!
In the background, we can see the work "Friendship" by the sculptor Miguel Guía, from Madrid. He creates works in bronze. He is influenced by the greatest, such as Pablo Picasso or Salvador Dali!
The last photograph comes from Nicanor García, an architect and photographer from Barcelona. For him, photography allows architecture to come to life through perspectives, shapes... You can follow him on Instagram: @nicanorgarcia! His account is spectacular.
VISITOR SIDE
We shot our collection on the Costa Brava, we will present you three cities that we love! This is only a small part of Spain, if you have any advice for our next Spanish adventures, do not hesitate to tell us in the comments!
In the first photo, we land in Cadaqués, a pretty little town, known in particular thanks to Salvador Dali. You can visit this little town for a day or two, stopping at Compartir, the best restaurant in town.
Then we go for a walk in Bégur, with its many coves and small streets full of restaurants. A real picture postcard landscape!
Finally, we couldn't not tell you about Sitges, the pretty little seaside town where the shooting took place! Close to Barcelona, it's a great destination for a little more peace and quiet. Historic center, beaches, ports and museums, Sitges is a city full of resources.
