Waekura was born in 2017, when Mélissa Artis launched the idea of offering accessible, modern and impeccable quality jewelry. Her guiding principle: to provide access to jewelry and services that she herself would have liked to have as a customer.

The inspiration

The first step is the moodboard which gives birth to a universe in which the collection is anchored. Colors, shapes, key words, images, poses… the first sketches are taking shape.

Once in the universe of the collection, the designs are created and the first prototypes come out of the workshops. The watchword: our jewelry must be light and comfortable to wear.

Brass

All our jewelry is made of brass. They are produced in Spain, China, France and Germany.
The most important thing: the workshop's know-how to offer the best quality. The brass used is recycled and recyclable.

Gold plated

The most important step: gold plating. All our jewelry is 3 micron gold plated in France. The gold used is recycled and we add a final coating so that they are water resistant and last over time.
