Waekura was born in 2017, when Mélissa Artis launched the idea of offering accessible, modern jewelry of impeccable quality. Her guiding principle: to give access to jewelry and services that she herself would have liked to have as a customer.

Inspiration

The first step is the moodboard, which gives birth to a universe in which the collection is anchored. Colors, shapes, keywords, images, poses... the first sketches take shape.

The drawings

Once in the world of the collection, designs are created and the first prototypes leave the workshops. The watchword: our jewelry must be light and pleasant to wear.

Brass

All our jewelry is brass-based. They are produced in Spain, China, France and Germany.
The most important thing: the know-how of the workshop to offer the best quality. The brass used is recycled and recyclable.

Production stages

Gold plating

The most important step: gold plating. All our jewelry is gold-plated 3 microns in France. The gold used is recycled, and we add a final coating to make them water-resistant and long-lasting.
